Account Inactivity Policy
This Account Inactivity Policy (this, "Policy") describes when Laravel may close your Account
due to Account inactivity. You may choose to close your Account at any time via your Account
settings, and in accordance with the Terms of Service applicable to your Account or such
other agreement or order Form executed between you and Laravel (each, an "Order Form"), if
any (the "Agreement"). Laravel may close your Account as set forth herein, and for other
reasons as permitted under the Agreement or Order Form.
Name Squatting and Account Inactivity Prohibition. Accounts
and associated usernames and account identifiers may not be inactively held. We prohibit
name squatting and attempts to market, sell, or seek payment in exchange for usernames and
account identifiers. You must sign-in and use your Account, at least once in each two-year
period, to keep it "active." If you fail to do so, or if your Account has been suspended for
two or more years, Laravel will consider your Account to be "inactive." Violation of this
Policy may result in Account suspension or termination, and inactive Accounts may be closed,
renamed or removed by Laravel in its discretion. Please review the Agreement for the
consequences of a closed Account, which may include, without limitation, deletion of your
Account and all related activity, projects and data.
Your Account will continue to be considered active for so long as you:
- have an active Laravel subscription associated with your Account (following the
expiration or termination of the subscription, you must sign in to your Account at least
once in a two-year period to keep your Account active);
- have used your Account within the last two years to purchase or access a purchased
Laravel product or service (excluding gift cards, certifications or multi-year
subscription-based purchases or services);
- have used your Account to publish applications or games to the Laravel Marketplace or to
register for a Laravel Partner Account within the last two years;
- have earned a certification from Laravel using your Account within the most recent
two-year period;
- have an unspent balance in your Account (e.g. a credit from Laravel);
- are owed payment by Laravel associated with your Account (e.g. undisputed amounts owed
to you under your partner agreement with Laravel);
- or manage an active Account belonging to a minor through your linked Laravel Account
(your inactive Laravel Account will be kept open by Laravel until the minor's Account
(i) is deemed inactive and closed by Laravel, (ii) is closed by you, or (iii)
transitions into a standard Laravel Account when the minor reaches the requisite age of
majority in their region).
Notwithstanding the foregoing, Laravel reserves the right to maintain your Account status as
active, or not to close an inactive Account, as required by applicable law or regulation, or
as otherwise determined by Laravel in its discretion.
Your Current Activity Status. You can review the activity
status of your account by navigating to your Organization, Team, or User settings.
Requests for Inactive Usernames or Account Identifiers. If
you would like to request review of an allegedly inactive account username or Account
identifier, please contact [email protected].
Please keep in mind that not all Account activity is visible to the public and Laravel is
not obligated to provide you with any particular username or Account identifier.
